Tim Henning Lüttge was born in Bielefeld, Germany, was first a junior student with

Prof. Michael Achilles and then studied flute and music pedagogy at the music academies of Detmold and Cologne, after which he was a scholarship holder with the principal flutist of the Berlin Philharmonic, Andreas Blau.

He also received further important impulses from Sir James Galway.

Lüttge has received numerous prizes at national and international competitions, and has also been a scholarship holder of the Dr. Richard Carl Dörken Foundation, the “Villa Musica”, the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation, received several cultural awards and was honored several times as soloist of the year.

As a soloist and orchestral musician he has participated in numerous CD productions, radio and television recordings, e.g. with the Berlin Philharmonic, the NDR Hamburg, the WDR Cologne and the Cologne Chamber Orchestra.

As a music educator, he devotes himself with great interest to the promotion of young musicians and has been teaching privately in Hamburg for several years.

His students have won several first prizes at national competitions of “JugendMusiziert”, international competitions, many cultural awards and are students at music academies.

Tim Henning Lüttge performs frequently as a soloist with international orchestras, including the SWR Saarbrücken and Kaiserslautern, the Munich Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne. He is also a juror at international music competitions and teaches master classes for amateurs and professionals.

Tim Henning Lüttge is also regularly active as a chamber musician and performs recitals with piano, harp and string instruments at international music festivals and chamber music series.

His solo program of classical music, film titles and sophisticated pop music bring him as a soloist to the great concert halls of the world.
